Managed my walk of 5.35 miles at 3.2 mph moving speed (stopped to talk to other hikers as usual) and one session on the gym.

Spent the pm reading on Kindle - While Justice Sleeps by Stacey Abrams. Complex political-legal thriller set in the land of our buddies on the other side of the pond.

Also been doing some Spotify curating. Really liking Born Again by Bebe Rexa (screenshot of opening lyrics - really lovely):

What a great couple of days in Edinburgh. Today we visited the National Gallery and Calton Hill to take in the great views. Very late lunch at Valvona and Crolla followed by a couple of drinks in the Cafe Royal. A good day.

And last night? Springsteen was astonishing, it was gut wrenching, emotional and joyous. The best gig I've ever seen. What a performance.

Hello
I'm up and had breakfast and now on second coffee

today I need to work out why my front brakes are rubbing
there seem to be hex ket heads involved - 3 are clearly just holding the brakes onto the frame
one is a proper hex key - about 4 mm - loosens up just fine - but the other 2 are star type for some reason so my normal tools won;t help
will have to dig through "The Big Tool Box" and see what is there

a simple diagram labelling it would help

Tektro hd-k185 or something like that
This is so friggin' irritating. I have a set of those. I had to buy them to get the back of our washing machine. Used them once but had the satisfaction of producing them to lend to a neighbour with the same problem.

Good day. Mrs P is still sleeping so I can't open the curtains to check weather. This is the problem with B&Bs, the one who wakes early has to sit quietly in the corner desperate for a brew! I can start making a noise around 7.45am........that's 90 minutes.

We've had a wonderful 10 days in Scotland. This morning we're going to see the National Galleries One and Two which about ten minutes from our B&B. Then it's home to Lancashire, diets and exercise.........

Morning all.
It's another cloudy start to the day.
I realized yesterday that I have not got a wheel brace in the car. I must of sold the spider I had with the last car which was over five years ago. Fortunately I have had no need to change a wheel.😁
So one of today's jobs is to buy a wheelbrace .

Morning all :hello:

Bit dull here this morning but forecast to be sunny later.
Off out at 9am to pick up a sealed 5ltr can of Comma fully synthetic 5w30 oil that someone is giving away free on FB. Pity I've just had an oil change on the CRV but it'll do for next time and it's only just down the road from me.

Now, if that were me, I would just get up, make as much noise as I wanted and tell Mrs @BoldonLad who is the boss.

Then, I would wake up from that dream, and, lie quietly, for however long........ ;)

Thats us most mornings, I come downstairs about seven then have to move around quietly till my Good Lady stirs, she sleeps in the back of our through lounge.
