Good morning all,
It's a bit cloudy outside at the moment.
wordle, word hurdle, heardle, quordle and sequence quordle all completed.
All the usual things to do today, plus I need to go to my LBS and get a front QR axle for the front wheel on my old Falcon and swap out the nutted axle that's on it.
The dog has a Vets. appointment this afternoon for her annual booster jabs and check up.
Yet another busy day in paradise

another is keen to meet up with "like minded people" and, judgeing my her profile photos - is not very well off and can;t afford many clothes

I get the friend requests on Facebook from the easy on the eye young ladies who can't afford many clothes, they're usually young enough to be my granddaughter, and what they want with an old granddad is anybodies guess, I just delete the request.

Morning all . Just got up as I am off volunteering this morning . Twice in a week , it’s almost like work 😂. I volunteer for two groups and most of the time they don’t overlap but just at the moment they are . Oh well off on hols in a couple of weeks with the in laws , I will wish I was volunteering then 😂😂.

Well, it's Black Bin Day on Wednesdays here, unless they miss or it's a Bank Holiday, in which case it's a Thursday. If it's a Bank Holiday and they miss then it should be Friday, but just as likely to be a Saturday(double time).

Only we have black bags that are blue, and they don't have any Blue Bag Day.
So I think I'd have confused you by telling you it were Black Bin Day.

I've added this to my reminder list. We have that many bin colours I've set it up on my phone to send me an alert for which bin and when!! No! I am NOT sad.

Good Morning. 'Tis a beautiful day in Lancashire and pleasantly cool in the house. This is a good thing. I have dropped my car off with a local guy who is highly recommended for car valeting. Other than the odd £20 at Tesco over the years on my company car I have never done this before. I don't really approve of the idea but needs must. It's got on top of me and needs doing. As Mrs P pointed out it would take me most of the day, time I can better spend on other stuff.

I've lots of odds and sods to attend to, so that's my day...................odds and sods.....

In my opinion it demonstrates organisation and a coping mechanism.........................I do forget stuff and I'm great at procrastination but if I have a task list stuff gets done. First task today was to write a Task List ..................................perhaps I am sad???????

I have paid the bill for having my car fixed.

£315 . I nearly fell of my perch. But they put a new strut on it as well. So new strut, spring and nut plus labour

In the new year my Volvo is having new brand 4 new tyres and belts - it'll go to the dealer for the work (it's probably the onky C70 in captivity with full dealer history and I want to maintain that provenance) so I'm probably going to be 8 or 9 hundred sheets down the river for that. Hey ho, it's not like I drink or smoke...much...many times an hour...
