Morning. The rain finally arrived here too. It was heavy overnight but it’s eased a bit now. Far too warm to put a jacket on though so not sure I’ll be walking.

Good day. Our long, gentle overnight rain has passed, I'll pop up to the allotment shortly to see how far it has penetrated the soil, no more than an inch is my guess. A lovely sunny, cool morning has dawned which is spot on for our short holiday at Center Parks, all that kayaking, canoeing, golfing etc. in blazing sun wouldn't be great. Time to get packed up and ready for the off.

Bonjour tout le monde. Last day of invigilating and off till November then . We had thunder and lighting last night but seems to be back blue sky now.

The fox is in the field again. He is quote far away, but you can see how dark in colour he is

Sorry Dave I misled you it should have been boil in the bag, you know a very small portion of cod with half a ton of parsley sauce to make it look bigger than it is

Riverside trail walk done. It actually stayed dry apart from the drips off the trees. Very muggy though.

Last night's heavy rain has barely made any discernible difference to the river though.

Was going for a walk but that plan is now abandoned.

Not sure what the rest of the day holds tbh.

Morning all,
The overnight rain has gone and the sun is shining.
Sainsbury's are coming soon to do the fortnightly delivery.
Then dog walking,plus a bimble tothe local butcher for one of his cooked chickens. It's much easier and there's no mess or washing up to be done.
