Morning all.
Up since 0500 YET AGAIN.
As I type I have just been visited by a huge dog fox......it really was massive and a bit scary.
Woke to another steam train early hours......heavy rain and strong wind.

Cooooeee. 12 deg here. We had heavy rain at about 5.30. Its stopped now but its a tad damp now.

Morning all

Tha gas man cometh at lunchtime to fix our smart meter.
We shall have a walk down to Watchet beforehand to pick up a bit of shopping and to book MrsD's hair appointment.
I've then got to assemble and install a hedgehog house that she's bought.
Decent bit of rain overnight which has filled all of my water butts.

Bonjour. The heavy rain during the night woke me up. A bit of a cool wind this morning . Hoping to go for a little ride before the TdF starts at 2 pm. Nothing else planned for the rest of the day otherwise.

Good morning all. It's a breezy but sunny start to the day here. The heavy rain has gone away.
My water butt is full, but I have put the diverter valve a little high so the butt was over flowing. I'll have to lift it up a bit.
Normal stuff to do today, plus a doctor's appointment this afternoon.

Morning all.
Woken up again, which is a good thing I suppose.

Still got neck and back issues, but taken some naproxen and managed to arrange a f2f with my GP - OK it's next week but little victories!

Also just put a (beer) brew on. It's cheating as I'm using a beer kit, but my back isn't up to doing an all grain brew atm, and my last one got infected so needed something quick and easy to do.

Swmbo is taking her mum to the eisteddfod today, so a day of guitar practice and cricket await.
She did ask if I wanted to go, but I think my response of "I'd rather eat dirt" (c. Steel Magnolias) made my opinion clear.

Me too. Just another little 3.5 miles before lunch. It's suddenly turned warm and humid so I think that's me done. I'll just chill and spend the afternoon loafing on the couch switching between the tennis and cycling I think.
