I've been retired since the end of May and hardly had a day to myself - !

I retired in 2015, and most days I don't have enough time.

We had a good night at the club, Brother In Law won on the bingo but we didn't, but that doesn't matter, its the time we spent socialising with friends and family that matters.

Yes, this makes a huge difference. I have no commitments to anyone else now, and probably have too much time on my hands and often feel I don’t do enough with it. Thankfully, as I have mentioned before, I am quite happy just chilling and not doing a lot most days.

Lots more heavy rain last night so I’m running out of places off road to walk due to the mud and overgrown vegetation. Might have to be the hilly, Willy walk this morning.

Morning all.
Woken up by Bruce wanting his breakfasy at 6.30, so now widr awake wondering what to do for the day.

Swmbo isn't feeling well so will probably stay in bed and watch ridiculous American crime programmes, so I'll have to find something to stop them driving me insane (it seems it's always a family member or friend that's killed someone from the same trailer park to get their motorbike or truck)

Weather forecast seems to have changed overnight from torrential rain to sun, so I may get out on the bike

Weather's looking iffy, so she's driving into Watchet rather than walking.
She's treating me to lunch at the Valiant Soldier afterwards.

The overnight rain has stopped and the forecast for today has changed from rain all day to just cloudy.
I'll be out with the dog soon, and the hopefully I'll get out on the bike for a while before the Tour starts on ITV4.

Bonjour. Lots of rain during the night and possibly more to come later as the sky is quite grey.
We had a viewing yesterday and waiting to hear from the agent for feedback now.
I am like @Mo1959 regarding time in retirement. I certainly don't keep going all day with things to do. I do as I wish when it suits me and like it like that. All my working life I was governed by the clock, not anymore. I rarely wear a watch now.
Back to watching the TdF at 2pm.
I heard Aldi are selling airfryiers for 49 pounds 99 starting on Thursday. I might be tempted to get one so will have to get there for opening time as I expect they will sell fast.
