Night night everyone.
Sorry am a little late to the god conversation. 😀
Do I believe in god , no as there is no evidence of he/she or it. On the other hand , am I a atheist, no as there is no proof it doesn’t exist either . Both points of view are based of a belief.
I like facts to base my views on, so happy to be agnostic. 😀.
Re relationships and religion and politics. Of course one’s views don’t have to be perfectly in line . Mrs exlaser goes to church ( but dislikes fundamentalists ) and is a little more centrist in politics than me,BUT what we do share is a common view on the rights and wrongs in the world even if we might disagree on how to put them right.
I have no idea how people that have very different extreme religious or political views can have relationships as these are some of the central things that make us, as human beings , what we are .
It’s like Nadine Dorries being in a relationship with Jeremy Corbyn 😂😂 . It’s just never going to happen. 😂😂😂😀😀😀😀

Morning. Well the rain hasn’t arrived but it’s a tad gusty out. I will risk a walk after my cuppa.

Not a lot on today. I finished shredding all the old documents and now need to sort the file out..... I really need a tippex to re label things.
Think I am going to the pub at lunch time. I go with a neighbour and we just have a 1/2 beer and a good natter.

When I go I walk passed a section with frozen "essentials" meals (or cheap).
So last time I decided to try one and chose sweet n sour chicken.
Well, at least I know just why they call them "essentials" ☺
They should label them crap🙂
TESCO 1st August.
In there to buy a new phone for the auntie.
I decided to get myself some soft barms for fried egg sarnies.
They all had a "best BEFORE 1st August".
There was a young woman working there so I pointed that out.
She said "oh, they will be ok"
I said "you are missing a point. Best BEFORE 1st was yesterday so you are selling bread that is already past the date".
For that I received a shrug.

Is this ever going to stop. Wet, breezy, drizzling, cold. Ride plans abandoned. When I've finished this coffee I'll get the wet weather gear on and out for a brisk walk.
There's an interesting talk this morning at our u3a titled The History of Communication. I will go. This evening a second u3a talk - The Power of the Mind. Memory. This series has been very interesting so far.
