Barnet,
Good morning all.
It's stopped raining and the sun is shining. A good day to get some washing done.
Our son crashed out at our place last night, he had been out with his old friends until late. There is silence from his room at the moment.
Two cats have gone out, Harry the tabby has come in and gone to sleep. After the obligatory dog walk I'll be out on the bike for a while and then watching the conclusion of the mens road race from Glasgow.
My day in a nutshell.

I literally dozed off while eating my tea last night, so sleepy. My sleep pattern is all to hell, shot to bits. Went to bed at 8.30 and slept till 3.00, plenty of rest but at the wrong time. I will finish my brew and hope to doze for a couple of hours. #1 son and partner took possession of their first house last Thursday. They plan to move in in early September. Today's plan is to remove all the wallpaper. We have borrowed three wall paperstrippers/steamers, it's going to be like a sauna!!!!!

I won't go on about the footie other than to say the boys were fabulous. A great display, very entertaining and an excellent afternoon enjoyed by all, apart from 3000 or so from the Midlands.........and a couple of my cycling buddies. 🤣

:hello:

Like you, my sleep pattern is "shot to hell". I am falling asleep mid afternoon, crawling into bed at night then waking at 0500 or earlier.
Been up since 0500 today and ready to go back now.

Morning all :hello:

'Storm Antoni' turned out to be a bit of a damp squib here. We had a couple of hours of windy weather; but nowhere near the figures forecast and not a lot of rain.
Why are we expected to believe the global climate change forecasters stories of doom and gloom in decades to come, when they can't even get the 24 hour weather forecast for Somerset correct?
Off out for a walk later and lunch at the Star.

:hello: Morning

Bonjour. Could someone knock on @Mo1959 doors ? She is late this morning, it is 7.48 so I assume she is having a lay in to catch up on her sleep.
Anyway, off to take Molly for a walk after my breakfast, then take a look at the grass to see if it is dry enough to cut and Men''s cycle race this afternoon.
See you all later.

No, I was up before 5 again and was out walking. Another 9 miles done before breakfast.
