Good lunchtime from Manchester. Had a u3a committee meeting this morning and now I'm munching a tuna sandwich at my lad's house as we plunge in to yet more paper stripping.

Roasted gammon joint sandwiches today and of course the gannet known as jake is here and expects to be fed.

Signed off from the fracture clinic. They were pleased at my range of movement and said to keep up the Physio. I asked about my enlarged bicep and the consultant called in another Doctor, had me take off my polo shirt and flex my arm while explaining to him my classic " Popeye deformity " caused by ruptured biceps tendon.
Off to watch the inter club time trials at Upton House later, then back to a friends place for beer and nibbles.

I spent the morning doing house worky stuff then after dinner I took my Good Lady to a near by shopping park, its not too far away so don't take long to get there, another one I dislike, it also contains the biggest Tesco I've ever been in, its too big and busy for me I detest it, but it now has a cafe inside so once my Good Lady had finished we stopped for a cuppa. We're now home and I've started cooking the tea, Roast chicken, with salad for my Good lady, roast spuds and mixed veg for me.

We were somewhere up North and happened to visit a very big Morrisons. It had a café and I saw a couple tucking in to Afternoon Tea, they even had the three tiered metal stand with all the components 😮
