Good morning, Mrs Tenkaykev was up late putting the finishing touches to her assignment which has to be in by noon. Good news on the tax demand on her brother's estate, that has been rescinded. I've noticed that the nine weeks of comparative inactivity following my arm break has seen my normal resting heart rate gradually creeping up to 49, hopefully bring that back down now I'm running again.
Have a splendid day folks ☀️👍

I knew this guy when I was in the job. Never worked  with him but we were on the same rota for some years so we'd see each other around a lot and we'd chat on first name terms. I never had an inkling.

I now know whats gone on in full but shan't say more on that front as I know one of the victims. Suffice to say three police forces where HR types haven't done their job properly allowed this piece of utter bellendery to work there.

Aside from being increasingly ashamed to have ever been a copper, I despair at rhe level of civilian f kwittedness that allows this sort of thing to go on.

When I joined in '91 (January 21st!) the police visited me at home, visited all my references, visited past employers, visited friends and people I'd worked with in the past. If they still did that then this sort of bollards wouldn't be happening and making me very angry.

That's my morning rant done in 3,2,1, and...that's better.

Morning all :hello:

MrsD's taking me to Minehead this morning for a big monthly shop.
Lawns to cut when I get back.
Weather's looking good, so I'll be firing up the BBQ later.
My cousin and his missus are visiting us from @Drago 'Poshshire' next week, so we've got to make sure the guest accommodation is up to snuff and he's got somewhere to park his Jaguar iPace safely.

:hello: Hi, not much is happening here

There seems to be more and more of that stuff going on and being reported.
