Whilst out with the dog this afternoon I saw this beautiful moth. I have no idea what the name of it is, but when airborne it is a striking orange colour.

Same as this one.....a Tiger Moth.
Seems to be a lot around this year.

Just back from the hairdressers and nipped into the supermarket on the way home and bought a tub of Hagen-Dazs strawberry cheesecake ice cream. I am about to scoff the lot!

I had an interesting half hour this afternoon doing something I hadn't done for a long time, patching the tube from this morning, I must get a fresh tube of glue.

2 year old asleep witha biscuit in his bed
6 year old probably asleep - his iPad has been confiscated so he probably is
10 year old is sitting with us watching Harry Potter - bed time soon


I am knackered!!!

probably park and farm shop tomorrow as they all like them - the park where the fun fair is at the moment is out - far too expensive!!

parents are having a night out and coming to pick them up tomorrow - probably just after lunch

I feel a few beers coming on tomorrow evening!!

Good morning all.
A cloudy start to the day here in Barnet.
MrsP and her friend are off to Kew Gardens this morning, they are meeting two other friends there. So I have the day to myself.
Once I've dropped MrsP at the station, it will be dog walking time, with maybe a stop at a cafe for breakfast.
Then I might watch the last road event from the world championships, the elite women are out on the road today..

Coooeeee. We had loads of rain last night. Its stopped now, but it is damp.

Not much planned for today and I doubt there is anything worth watching on the TV tonight.

Went to bed at 7.30 last night. Feeling snotty & chesty. Didn't sleep too badly. Still snotty & chesty this morning.
Got lunch booked at the Star today. Will see how I feel later.

Are they as sweet and sickly as they sound?
I occasionally get small (individual size) strawberry cheesecakes from Aldi. Very tasty but on is plenty.

Dry here and quite warm though its cloudy.
TV day as there is womens golf** plus football.
**those young women can knock the ball a country mile AND annoyingly mostly keep it on the fairway.
