Done walking again
Back from parkrun. Mrs TKK was about 50 metres ahead of me at the finish. I am six minutes slower than before I broke my arm, not running as fluidly due to nerves, hopefully that will improve over time. Walking back from the park I ran into one of the lads I know through running. He was wearing a sling having come of his bike and broken his collarbone. They put a metal plate in and now he's going to need a lot of physio. It's his dominant arm and he works as a plasterer so won't be able to work for a while.
Ahh but I was there at 0800 so wasn't aware of your plight 🙂

Anyway.....I had a brilliant idea.
The tv ads are really promoting various brands of "stuff" to solve erectile dysfunction. So.......I sent for 3 different ones and (in my wisdom) I will try them all at the same time!!!
All I need is a willing volunteer to help me out.
So.....Mo, are you free Wednesday, Thursday and possibly all weekend ?
Mo, this is your chance to aid my research programme 🙂
Something I have thought about but hopefully still a long way off.
No research assistant required surely?

Anyway - last night we weer 'reminded' that we "volunteered" to look after the grandkids this afternoon
funny how neither of us remember this but anyway
This morning we got a phone call and apparently their Uncle has said he will look after them as he has to look after his anyway
so we are free!!
weather is fine but blowing a gale - can;t be bothered to go for a ride because it is in an awkward direction
Oh - and also - went to get some sausages from the butcher - but it was closed - it was about 2 p.m. on a Saturday
this is the 3rd time I have gone there and it has been closed
I am starting to think it has closed down - like the one on the High Street!!
