Sheets out on the line quarter to seven this morning, we've had a bright sunny day, except for a dinner time shower that lasted a quarter of an hour, when I last checked the sheets they were wetter than when I put them out. A good work out at yoga this morning, I've had muscles stretched that I didn't know I had. And I've had an ear worm, I've had the words to Union Gaps Young Girl randomly running round my head all day.

Is that because Prince Andrew has been in the news recently?

Trip to the Hospital was strange. The Blood test people couldn't find me on the system, apparently as I've been transferred to a new Consultant in Poole Hospital they have to set up a blood test request form which hadn't happened. The main Blood Test department suggested I pop along to Oncology outpatients. I showed them the letter and they fell over themselves to sort things out. Everyone so friendly, it's a small unit with it's own Phlebotomist so they booked me in for tomorrow. Lovely friendly people and a great welcoming atmosphere👍

Hi folks :okay: An 'interesting' ride today, good weather forecast so thought i would do my usual ride over the hills via Golspie. An ominous black/grey sky approached and it started raining ****er! i headed up over the hills into rapidly dampening head wind oh joy i said  It was really squally on higher ground and was getting buffeted around on the single track...started humming 'Riders on the Storm' by the doors. Good thing about weather here is that its always changing/dynamic.....a few miles further on the sun comes out and alls well. A big old buzzard sat on a post not 10ft away and just stared at me without any intention of flying off, i said 'Hello Mr Buzzard' , i also greet various other critters/beasties as i go along especially cows as im hoping they will recognise me as friendly and wont be inclined to punt me into the loch :hyper:
It was a good ride certainly made me feel alive! :okay:

Glad it’s not just me that speaks to them. I call them Busby. I was speaking to a red squirrel on a walk a while ago and didn’t notice someone behind me. I had to quickly tell them I wasn’t speaking to myself.

Just cycled down to Tesco to get a couple of things

Locked up my bike and walked to the entrance
As I was getting there the bloke next door appeared in his car
When I say car - I mean brand new Porche Taycan - electric - worth about £126,000

AND PARKED IN A PARENT AND CHILD SPACE!!!!!

there were loads of other spaces around but no - he parked in the parent and child space!!!

originally I thought it was a disabled space which really annoys me but it was the P&C one next to the start of the disabled ones

either way - entitled git!!

funny how he can suddenly afford these type of cars and HUGE extension just after lockdown and the furlough scheme - would have thought his property maintenance company would have been a bit short of cashflow after that
unless..........

anyway

Entitled, and bone idle lazy.

Yup - hadn't even got the excuse that he was "just popping in for a packet of fags" or some other irrelevant excuse that he will "only be a minute" as I saw him later browsing the pre-packed salad and mushrooms
he did only have a basket

but anyway
can;t really have a go at him as I might need his help with some house related thing at some point

still - ****head
(p.s. never seen him on a bike either - at least the bloke on the otehr side has some mountain bike he takes out about twice a year!)

Looks like spider season is starting early, I've evicted one tonight, it was probably the same one I saw the other night, I'm happy to leave them alone, but it scuttled across the lounge floor and was spotted by my Good Lady who made a fuss so it had to go,.
