Started young, and still going.

Barnet,
Morning all.
Dog walk completed, she is looking at me very suspiciously, she knows we are going away. I'm sure she understands every word we say.
I'll get the suitcases down from the attic today, that'll confirm her suspicions and she will sulk for the next two days.
My daughter is having her at her place by the way.
The milk has gone off so I'll have to buy a couple of pints and freeze what we don't use.
Off to do a few errands now. :bicycle:

Following my Hospital visit I walked the short distance back towards the Bus Station and on the way treated myself to Scrambled eggs on a couple of granary doorsteps at an excellent little café nearby. I sat in the window seat to people watch, not many about as it was heaving it down. There was a regular flow of buses with the destination "Bournemouth via the Airshow" which starts today. Very few passengers, and none whatsoever on the Open Top bus ☔️
Back home now for a while before heading to Wimborne for Physio.

Salut. I received a birthday card from my SIL. This card was for me to take to France when I went 10 days ago as it was intended for my brother's 60th birthday. It was posted on August 9th, 1st class., so It took 22 days to get to my address which is 36 miles from where my SIL lives.
This is shocking, awful, horrible service from the Post Office.,

I can't see them lasting much longer. Some days they can't get cover for our area so we just don't get any mail.

Airshow is very good entertainment.

Last one we went to was sad - maybe 11 or 12 years ago (?) One of the pilots crashed his plane and died on the way back to base.

We are probably having fish today. :hungry:

And of course it's raining :rain:

We're having fish and chips tonight, we've been down Jubilee Crescent and in the Jubilee Junction cafe for lunch, afterwards we crossed the road to do a bit of shopping in Asda before coming home. My back is OK if I keep moving but if I sit down for any length of time I can barely move when I try to start moving about again.
