Barnet,
A splendid afternoon out in Poole yesterday. The Nelson was a bit meh so we wandered round to the King Charles which is off the quay so not as many grockles. A starter course of a bag of crisps to accompany our beers before heading to the Rope and Anchor for lunch. Wandered back up the High Street to the Brewhouse and Kitchen for a final drink before seeing our friend on his train to Weymouth then ambled back to the bus station for the bus home.

Sounds like a great day out.🍺

El-Scorchio in Coventry, temperature in the house this afternoon has been the thick end of 27 degrees despite all the doors and windows being open, we were in town this morning, called in at Cassilax for lunch on the way back, this afternoon I've been watching the Moto GP sprint race and Ireland v Romania in the Rugby.

We do quite a bit of that too but we find it frustrating because, when we see one we like, we can't do anything about it until we have a buyer for ours and it hasn't happened yet.

Aye, that's where we be at. We can make all the offers we want, but if someone comes along that is in a position to deal straight away then it's adios house. We shall see, I guess.

We sold our bungalow in North Devon within two days of it going on the market. The market has cooled quite a bit since then. but properties in desirable areas still seem to sell quickly.
It helps considerably if you've got the wonga for a cash purchase, as we found out when we purchased our current property.

Has it started yet, and what are you going to once it does?

What was the King Charles called twelve months ago?
