Getting ready for church.Today will be mylast stint on Welcome duty.Cant go face to face and shake hands with people,when chemo knocks the living daylights out of you.Yesterday was fabulous a big family meet up.Ten of us in Manchester.One more meet up then it all begins.Chemo 12 th October.I feel as fit as a butchers dog.i dont understand any of it.

Very sad, I've had a near miss with a tree branch, it fell a few feet behind me, on the Kenilworth road I'd just been passed by a taxi going in the opposite direction and it fell between us.

Good lord. I suppose when your times up that's it it doesn't matter where you are or what you are doing.

House viewing at 1300hrs, covid booster at 1400hrs. The covid jabs always leave me feeling drained so I've planned to keep the afternoon free.

I have been pottering. I had a win win with a headband what I knitted. It actually worked. Hoorah.

10k walk to and from Junior parkrun this morning. Lovely views over Holes Bay from my marshaling point, can just make out the Spire of the Church on Poole High street.

Squeezed in another little walk before the rain arrives. Timed it right for once as the first spits were falling yards from home. Quite muggy now too.

I had a huge tree fall, just behind us,in Evesham many years ago. Watched it in the rear view mirror. 2 seconds later and I'd have been toast .....
