I've done the shopping, cleaned the oven, mopped both the kitchen and lounge floors and polished downstairs.

Retirement sounds too hard, you've made me glad I'm still working.

My retirement now is not typical, I'm my wifes main carer so do more than most, despite that I'm glad I'm retired, I wouldn't want to go back to work.

I noticed an enormous spider scuttling around while I was watching tv. Hope it doesn’t come through to the bedroom! They don’t normally bother me but that was one big mother f****r!

The spiders seem to be setting up home in our house for the winter. Apparently peppermint oil in water deters them. Get a spray bottle with water in it and put some perrermint oil in and spray the blighters.

No will be sat in bed tonight with a 1 litre spray bottle, filled with a mix of 10 drops of peppermint essential oil with about 200ml of filtered water. Ready to spray at the spider, and any friends it's invited along, in case it comes into the room

Morning all. I was in bed and asleep very early last night. I was supposed to be at a "gig" but that wasn't due to start till 2100!!! Those days have gone for me.
Golf......for those that have not played it I guess it must be boring. As a (ex) regular player I enjoy watching the comps, especially the Ryder Cup.
So thats my day sorted.
