Mrs tkk is downstairs making the coffee, never heard her getting up. It's still dark in Dorset.

I briefly started back on coffee but started getting more headaches again, so as much as I love drinking it, I really think I’m going to have to avoid it for good.

We love our coffee. I used to drink about eight cups of Nescafé a day at work. At home we went from a pod machine to a percolator before being gifted a bean to cup machine. We tend not to drink coffee when out as the coffee at home is so good. My only issue with headaches tends to be when I'm dehydrated without realising it. A pint of water soon solves that. You lead a legendary active lifestyle Mo, are you drinking enough water?

It is with some dismay that I have noted that the developers from whom I am buying a house have mentioned in their brochure that a local primary school is "a two minute drive" from the development.

It's a 10 minute stroll, less if one walks at a more businesslike clip. How sad that people are so bone idle lazy that developers feel compelled to make such claims in their spiel in order to appeal to them.

Barnet,
Good morning all.
A cloudy start to the day here.
MrsP is attempting to renew her car insurance. £485 was the renewal figure.
On comparison sites she can get it down to £450. No claims or convictions, and it's a ford fiesta she has, not a Lamborghini.
I've offered to service her bike and pump her tyres up, the look I got was not friendly.
The usual stuff to do today, and then a bimble out on the bike later.

Maybe message them…..even anonymously (via some means, easy for a man of your special skills👀).
They perhaps just need a gentle boot up the backside to remind them of that fact!

@Mo1959 - maybe just have an early or mid-morning ☕️….then be sure to take on the water later.
I would seriously miss the occasional cup (having survived an IT career on multiple cups every day 😱🤣)
Off with friends later to try ‘pickleball’. No idea what it’ll be like, but it’s good to try something new🤪

There are loads of new houses being built around here. They are popping up everywhere I go but all out of our price range , so there must be lots of people with big mortgages I guess. Those days are gone for me. We are mortgage free and very happy about it.
