Just got my new rear wheel from Tredz ...and guess what it doesnt fit...aaagghhh jeez im sick of this, gave them all the details and they even got a pic of the exact model. The new wheel falls through the drop outs and the skewer is much shorter than the original. Is this wheel they sent me suitable for a road bike rather than my hybrid?

Thanks classic33 i will do. Its so annoying, i changed the tyre and put the cassette on ready to go and then had to put them back again...

Sounds like the OLN measurement of the hub is shorter than the dropouts.
What are the respective sizes?
I would contact Tredz and they can either supply the correct hub/wheel combo, or give a full refund.

Thanks Paulus, i dont know what a OLN is the width of the hub is too short and wondered if it was meant for a road bike. Ive sent them a terse email and will get either the right wheel or a refund!

OLN is the measurement Over the Lock Nuts of the axle, which should correspond to the width of the dropouts.

Good morning all. Its 0530.
Please, will someone tell me why I am up😗.
I have only a few 'bitty' things to do.
• I realised that my tv licence ran out at end of September, so I must get that done.
• My legs feel somewhat better today so I may go to Lidl and see how they compare to my usual Aldi.

@Chief Broom It seems to be much more difficult finding wheels for hybrids as I think most off the peg wheels seem to be for road bikes as you have found out. Tredz should have known that so a bad mark to them
