Off to Alnwick Gardens today. Lunch in the Treetop Restaurant and hopefully a tour of the Poison Garden
Good morning all.
All the usual things to do today.
Dog walking, domestics, bike riding, and if the grass dries enough it will be mown this afternoon..
Mine needs doing as well. I wonder if it knows it is time to go to sleep till next spring now and stop growing.
Thanks Mo I think your right that ive been sent a road bike wheel. When i have transport again i shall use bike shops in Inverness and save myself a lot of hassle. One dealership sells Trek so willl get a FX 3 [in red..nice] when i upgrade.Morning. It’s dark and windy and pouring so not sure why I’m up.
@Chief Broom It seems to be much more difficult finding wheels for hybrids as I think most off the peg wheels seem to be for road bikes as you have found out. Tredz should have known that so a bad mark to them![]()
Could you not combine the two, doing an extra yoga session at home.Good morning folks, yoga this morning and chores later.
Never a truer word said.Right - I'm up
Weird thing happened
went to the Dr. with my wife yesterday to see if she could get a face-to-face appointment to discuss several health problems
Got one for 9:10 this morning!!!!
WHich shouldn;t be weird - but hearing what others say it is nowadays!
In other news - got an alerts from Credit Karma because
shock horror
my credit rating had DROPPED
I clearly must panic immediately
looks like it has dropped because my credit card balance has dropped. It get s paid off every month but as I have been away on holiday for 2 weeks I have not used it as much
resulting in in the credit rating dropping
Of course - the credit rating is pure fiction anyway - I used to work on the computer systems for a big company and could see the way the company used credit data - I could even sit in and see the screen the users were seeing - and the credit rating was not even a thing
Apparently I need a higher credit limit and I need to borrow some money!!!
what a load of *******!
Off to Alnwick Gardens today. Lunch in the Treetop Restaurant and hopefully a tour of the Poison Garden
I read of one visitor to the Poison Garden asking the guide if there was a Garden Shop 😮
It does make me laugh when you see these young 'uns wearing the elasticated belts that barely cover their (insert as applicable), then spend all the time pulling them down. JUST WEAR SOMETHING LONGER THEN!!!Well that interesting
Got my Spar visit done and paid my tv licence.
Saw something I thought very funny. 2 young girls in school uniform.....maybe 13/14 years old. Legs like "knots in cotton" and skirts rolled up as far as they dared. One of them continuously checking that she wasn't showing too much.
Can't recall last time I saw that (perhaps my daughter 35+ years ago, when she thought me and Sue hadn't noticed).
Come on Mo and Welshie.... be honest here🙂.
