Cooooooeeeeee 14 deg here and supposed to be nice for a few days. I have a load of washing in the machine. Hopefully I will get it dried.

Off down to Burnley today for the match against Chelsea. Looks like a fine 19C day too.

Hope we (Chelsea) win after a sluggish start to the season.

I am (sort of) neutral but will be shouting for Burnley, as the underdog.....with no money to spend.
Whatever happens, enjoy your day.

Well, decided I couldn't sit in all day so stuck my waterproof jacket and over trousers on and a pair of gore tex trail shoes and got out. Thought it was only going to be the ladies that had braved it as I met two lady dog walkers and a runner but met a guy just setting off for a run nearer home. I see him most mornings. Obviously a dedicated runner that gets out most days.

The river isn't too bad yet but this is just with 10 hours of rain. If the forecast is correct, we could have another 36.
