You have my understanding and empathy . Those among us , who are males and are exposed to driving a drunk women carload, have to suffer the vagaries' of female lunacy and hormonal meltdown . I have been there . I did not enjoy it and felt sorely tempted on more than one occasion to pull into the kerb, turf the whole bloody lot of them out and drive away.

I have actually done that once, with daughter no4. ;)

well - yesterday was difficult at time
Christening of 2 people from my wife's family - on 3 year old and his Mum

WHich is fine
Had to pick up an elderly aunt and her daughter on the way - aunt is 92 and still quite lively - to say the least - but not too good on her feet

Anyway - at the "do" after - in a wonderful country pub somewhere around Blackburn - the 2 of them - plus my wife - had quite a few glasses of wine
My wife was a bit drunk but fine (I'm used to her!!!) but the daughter of the aunt was getting p****d by the second glass and got worse over the afternoon
Naturally - and as always - I was driving so couldn;t drink

3 drunk women can get a bit wearing after several hours
especially when they are all giving direction on the way home and not one of then could get left and right the right way round!!!
(note - my wife does that anyway - but again I am used to her - a few years ago we arrived at a roundabout and her directions were "UP" - her sister once said "DOWN" when she was giving directions - I think it is genetic!!)

Anyway - her son arrived this morning with the 3 year old - we are on kid duty today - picking the eldest up after school and look after them until the parents get home - some time after tea.

busy day probably!

Providing transport for my good Lady and some of her friends on a night out a few years ago, my Good lady was the youngest of the group at 70, picked them up at the end of the night and only one was sober, my Good Lady, and one had scored, she had a fella's phone number in her handbag, a car load of pissed pensioners most entertaining. ^_^

I've been doing the home insurance tango this afternoon, renewal over two hundred quid for the first time in several years and the quote was short of payment details, tried to get details on the website but it wouldn't recognise my details or my policy, tried to phone them, got onto a robot voice that was about as helpful as a chocolate fireguard then got put on hold for ten minutes before getting cut off. At that point I went with the cheaper quote I'd found but then had to get the auto renew on the original policy killed, now all sorted but wot a performance

Barnet,
I like the climate in the West Country.

I like the cheese.

Well - kid sitting done - they were late back as they were at a funeral a bit away
Middle one is autistic and can be difficult after school but he was a little darling

Biggest one was fine as usual - tried to have a teenage (teenage wannbe - only 11) grump but I refused to accept it as valid and she gave up

Littlest (nearly 3!) was a darling as always - he is the easiest kid I have ever looked after - as long as you read him books when he wants!

anyway - my wife did dinner for them - given that I do all the cooking at home it is a mystery when she does it for them at their place - but whatever, less work for me for once!

even got proper hugs goodbye from the middle one - first time for a while!

so - a good day overall - no bike ride though!
