Did my Aldi dash.
TBH I didn't need much** but I find it gets me moving.
**having the air fryer I can get lots of small items eg spring rolls that I can just chuck in when I am hungry.
I still struggle cooking for just one person if cooking from fresh ingredients.

Apart from the fact that I can't cook  it just seems easier eating ready meals when I am just on my own. By the time I would faff about buying lots of different ingredients and spending time preparing stuff, it just doesn't seem worth it. I don't even currently have a freezer so couldn't even do a large amount and freeze some.

I do agree with you. I can go to Farm Foods and pick up 5 x ready meals for less than 8 quid......the chili is very nice.
T'other day I made a curry.....chicken, mushrooms, onion etc. It was really tasty and enough for 2 meals.
Q.
Do you not do omelettes ?? Dead easy. Fry some onion and mushrooms. Chuck one or 2 eggs in with some cheddar cheese plus some pepper (if you like it)

Yes, occasionally. I only buy eggs sporadically as I seem to go off them at times, then take a notion for them again a few weeks later. Quite enjoying my pasta at the moment interspersed with a ready meal curry other nights.

Thanks but no thanks. I think I'll pass.

I Don't blame you. Cooking for 1 seems to be a waste of time and effort. If I was on my own I would be eating a lot of stuff on toast I think.

Must confess to the same problem re eggs. I buy a box of 6 but invariably at least 2 get binned.
Whats your fave curry?
I don't like it too hot so eg Rogan Josh is good for me.
