Right - I'm getting over my confusion

Woke up and it was 6 something
no problem - still feeling dozy and the bedroom radio never resets automatically
it is actually annoying - you have to allow it to reset itself as it is DAB
but it won;t do it unless the radio is switched on
so I have to wake up in "old time" - switch the radio one and leave it for a while and check it

except this morning when it managed to reset all by itself !

so when I got up thinking it was 8 "old time" - it was 8 "new time" - wondering why I was so awake !!!

anyway - I am sorted out and done an amazing thing

I managed to set the kitchen oven clock FIRST TIME
no extra buttons pressed - just bish bash bosh - job done!
normally I am there trying every combination under the sun before I get it done

and it HAS to be done as I can;t cope with clocks telling the wrong time!!

anyway - on second coffee now and wondering about sequence of farm shop, Tesco and bike

Morning folks :okay: its grim out...lashing rain and 50mph winds. Have been perusing turbo trainers to use on days like this- a budget one as im skint, so no bells n whistles but then cant see bells n whistles would improve the experience
Going to make some cheese n onion pasties today, would use puff pastry but cant seem to buy any which isnt naff so will make short crust instead. I shall use loads of strong chedder, a big handful of parsley and some chopped chillies :okay: havent made pastry or pasties for a while so it'll be like Basil Faulty in the kitchen

Been to the Spar. Got Nan bread and natural yoghurt for the Chilli.

Were they out of Tortillas? Or do you just prefer Naan bread for some reason?

I can imagine the latter work just fine. Same as Pitta pockets too.

Cooking a chilli myself today - old, from scratch, recipe with lots of spices, porridge oats, chocolate and lager!

TT's are loathsome things, depressingly boring. I have to make a real effort to do just 30 mins on mine.

TBH, never gave tortillas a thought.
In fact, I don't recall EVER eating one.
Normally have nan with a curry so it should be ok.
I am also doing rice with it

Thanks SpokeyDokey :okay: ive only just started investigating indoor bike/trainers so any advice much appreciated. I really havent much cash to flash so whatever keeps the old legs exercised through the winter :okay:

I've just had an hour's slow shuffle on my treadmill as it's miserable here too. It's bearable if you put music on.

Thanks but no thanks. I think I'll pass.
Blue skies and sunshine here although we are expecting rain by mid day.

I have been playing in my workroom. Mr WD has taken himself off down the lane to help a neighbour cut back some climbing things. She can't do it herself so he ha taken his loppers ( oooh err Mrs) and he will chop wherever she instructs him to. That gives me an hour or so of peace

I've got mine in the shed at the bottom of the garden.
When I use mine I take the bluetooth speaker and play music for an hour or so. It helps to keep up a rhythm and stop any boredom setting on.

Just tell him to be careful what he does with his chopper - it can cause all sorts of problems if you get it in the wrong place!!!

The rain has come early, and it's heavy. So my plans have been thrown into disarray.
I just might have to stay in, with a bottle of Cotes du Rhone Ventoux, and catch up with a few things on the radio and tellybox.

We have more showers to come too. I might watch more of Bosch or read for a while.

Fried egg sandwich and cuppa for lunch.
