The bin men should have taken the rubbish in Thursday but they didn't. Another week of missed bins. Apparently they are having trouble getting people to work on the bins. How times change, at one time getting one of those jobs was like finding gold. You had to know someone who knew someone. Now they can't give the dam jobs away.

Our collectors have been on strike for maybe 6 weeks now and have just announced that it could go on till "the festive period".

Morning folks :okay: bright n chilly here, think i'll go and clean out my neighbours gutters and he'll be keener to help with my turbo trainer tech stuff :okay: its probably not that difficult but my brain shuts down with computer stuff...or filling in forms....or when someone is giving me directions....or lots of stuff
Has Mo been streaking through the woods again, she's a wild child and totally out of control!

Not sure what he’s on about. Far too cold here for any streaking! It’s actually not too bad now the sun is out. Another few miles done before lunch…..fully clothed.

That's a relief - I was worried about your health
:cold:
which probably means I am getting old!!!

Thought I better ostthis on a thread mostly inhabited by "older" people so the bad news can be responsibly passed down to the young people

The treadmill 'blew up' the other day.

Needs new motor, control board and a trip switch. Inc' parts, labour and VAT it will be £845 to repair.

Have ordered a new one instead - coming on Monday.

Also my Garmin watch battery has not been lasting as long as it used to. Sent them an email and they are replacing it even though it is nearly a year out of warranty!

As it comes in threes, what will go wrong next?

In other News we have booked to go and see Napoleon at the flicks - looks really good.

What have you ordered? A lot of them seem to need quite a bit of construction hence I quite like the look of these. Only a few bolts to fit.

Ordered this. They get very good reviews and the company is known for its great customer service.

Reviews (independant sites) all say that it is solidly built and great vfm.

Also like the 'soft cushion' deck too - older joints and all that!

Also comes with 2 year parts and labour warranty which is unusual.

2 man free delivery to inside of house and minimal assembly required.

Ordered on Friday and delivery is this Monday coming - super quick considering the weight.

We had a B&H Fitness before, cost more but really disappointing to fail as it has.
