Off to the docs at 0930 for a scheduled check up.
Going to have breakfast at one of the cafes in town.
Quite wet and windy here at the moment.

With a chip butty ?
Salt n vinegar should be enough.
If sauce is required then it should be red.

You are lucky you can see your doctor. It is nearly impossible in our surgery.

You can see one of the four doctors in our surgery, as long as you can wait for 5 weeks or so.

Bread is now 'on the go'. I prefer brown/wholemeal which is what I have made.
However if making g a chip butty then I prefer white.....am I strange

But that's OK - have you seen the people on here???

In our house we both prefer wholemeal or seeded as just bread
but SWMBO insists on Warbies white toastie for things like bacon butties and chip butties
It is not worth buying 2 as we would throw half of each out - so we just get the white as that HAS to be available

and - no we cannot keep it in the fridge of freezer
apparently that makes it stale
so I am told

I keep bread in the freezer for toast. For sarnies I do prefer fresh

Before SWMBO moved in I used to keep bread in the freezer
most went for toast so that was OK

It was also useful as I used it for lunch sandwiches when I was at work
Making ham sandwiches out of cold ham and frozen bread - then wrapping them in foil - kept them cool until it was time for lunch

saved having to brave the staff room fridge!

We have three doctors .We have to go through the Spanish Inquisition if we happen to get the wrong receptionist..If we are lucky enough to get Graham he will do his best to fit you in.

We appear to have 8, although how many are full time I don’t know.

We have 1 only and he's next to useless. When the previous one retired (who I never even saw), the new one took over and cut the surgery hours. You now can't get in before 9.00AM or after 4.00PM and he doesn't open on Saturdays!!!

I have no idea how many Dr's we have. The last time I saw a Dr was 30 plus years ago.
