Slept deeply in the latter hours. Usually I wake and wait for getting up time, today I slept solidly and it was the alarm that woke me. Off for a walk with the Tuesday walking group.

You still have an alarm? I gave that up as soon as I retired. I hardly ever need to be up at a specific time now but I suppose if I did I would just set a reminder on my watch. I have a hair cut booked for 9am tomorrow but will be awake long before that.

Thanks but no thanks. I think I'll pass.

I occasionally set an alarm, when needed…..but when I stopped the day job, I stopped wearing a watch 👀
Very liberating. Never too far from a clock or indeed my phone when I need the time, & managed an epic interrail adventure earlier this year without needing a watch 👍

I had McIntosh’s stovies as I spied them in the reduced bit as they had to be used today.

Popped on the bike and did a gentle 10 miles before lunch. That’s 3 little rides totalling 28 miles already. Zwift is making all the difference. I did one of the robo pacer rides and was concentrating so hard trying to match the pace that 10 miles passed without hardly noticing.

You know, if you could connect it to an alternator, you could boil the kettle whilst you pedalled.
Get off and have a nice cuppa anytime then.
