Good morning, a bit of a sore throad from reading " The Magic Faraway Tree " to our granddaughter. I pause and emphasise the parts where the children in the story are well behaved and put their clothes away neat and tidy etc. This is met with a groan and instructions to carry on reading🤔

Bruce walked. Because I don't have to walk Mini D to school of I head down to the country park of a weekend. We took his Frisbee, he absolutely loves retrieving as any good Labrador would. He's a magnificent animal and would have make a top class gun dog but those attributes make him a wonderful pet and companion.

Salut. Very windy here today so the washing should be dry by tonight.
Our son came to see us this morning and whilst he was here, the carer who looks after the old lady on the other side of the road hit his work's van and drove off. Luckily, he was seen. Our son reported it to the police as hit and run. The funny thing is that , that idiot is coming back at 4.30pm to see to the old lady again so we will be waiting for him.

Update on the incident. Our son was here at 4.30 but the chap never turned up. Another one did come instead so we had a chat with him and it turns out but the idiot was supposed to see to the old lady tonight and be shadowed by the chap we talked to. As it is , he risks losing his job now for failing to do his duty. What a fool !

Trying to return the inards of a cow that came out with the calf. By hand, just carefully trying to stuff it back inside. I was keeping the inards above the cow. We didn't succeed.
