Trying to return the inards of a cow that came out with the calf. By hand, just carefully trying to stuff it back inside. I was keeping the inards above the cow. We didn't succeed.

I wasn't on the gutting and cleaning section. Nor the plucking.

Family owned farm of a relatives neighbour.

Getting chased by my Christmas dinner, whilst trying to catch it wasn't fun. Geese hurt, especially if they're know they'll be on a plate very soon.

Today we are going up to our friends in St. Neots for lunch, there's a whole group of us, so it should be a fun gathering.

A cloudy morning. Christmas lunch at the club where I shall collect the " Catastrophe " award for this year. My name has been on the " Harrier of the Year " award a few times but I think it's my first Mr Tumble ( though I did come a cropper many years ago when going flat out along the Studland Road to catch the Chain Ferry )
There's a guaranteed entry to next years London Marathon going for grabs, briefly tempted but my very last Marathon was London 2014 and I don't think I could manage the necessary training now.

Morning all

Had a dreadful night last night.
I put it down to the large portion of Christmas pud I scoffed just before bedtime. Was tossing and turning, feeling sick, for most of the night. OK now.
Sunday lunch booked at the Star Inn.

Had the whole (extended) family here so I was 'otherwise engaged'. Dead soz like

Morning all. ........at least I think its morning .
A wonderful day with the family. Me and daughter sat up till 0020....having a drink, talking about Sue (her Mum) a few laughs and a lot of crying.
I think I may still be asleep

At least it wasn't the exciting job stories that sent you to sleep. They can't blame me now.

Just spent an hour, or so, checking over my caravan.
Jacked it up and rotated the wheels, checked the motor mover, ran all internal systems up and gave it an external clean. Connected the hook up and it's now charging the battery.
I'll do an internal damp test later.
Everything seems OK - MrsD will be pleased as she's been nagging me to use the caravan more next year. Only been away once since we moved in March.
