A bit 'ropey' this morning (self inflicted) as my oldest/long term friend and his wife came to see me. Lots of good memories to discuss, each memory needed a fresh whisky .
Got up for a pee at 0430 and (unusual for me) went back into a deep sleep and came around at 08.45. Waiting for this coffee to kick in now.

Morning folks Another soggy day so hopping on the trainer when i get the urge to get off the sofa.... Done my online xmas shopping for a couple of friends yay and thats it, a couple of Wind in the willow DVD's a book on wildlife gardening and a calendar. Wouldnt want to be shopping in town amongst the throng....thank goodness can do it all on the computer.

I just started the first of the
"Strike" series of books by Robert Galbraith aka J K Rowling. I thought the tv series was very good, but I was told that the books are even better. So I bought the first three.

Watched all of season 1. Wasn’t until the last episode i realised I had actually watched season one some time ago.

Watched the first two episodes of season 2 Only the first three episodes are available.presume following episodes will be aired weekly.Don’t know on what day.

SiL and granddaughter turned up....very nice. We ended up having bacon butties. Not sure why they came but it was lovely to see them.
