Good morning,
First cup of coffee made and consumed. Taken a couple of paracetamol as I feel achy and sore after yesterday's shingles jab.
....a bit later now as I forgot to " Post " Did myself a couple of rounds of buttered toast and dropped the plate on the floor as I was carrying it into the dining room, my left hand just let it go. Going to have a lie down.

When they discovered I was moving, they were on the phone trying to offer me a better price, but I informed him he was too late. If they can't get their software engineers to somehow programme customer's accounts to offer decent reductions for loyalty at the time of renewal they can get stuffed. I'm not wasting time phoning up foreign call centres and begging for reductions.

I just spoke to a Linda in Blackburn, quite a strong Lancashire accent.
She seemed to know what she was doing. The Data integrity team will now be involved, whoever they are.
This is their last chance.

OK - so what's next
Well the doctor's rang yesterday but my phone was out of charge so I didn't notice until the evening
anyway - rang them this morning to see what they had wanted. I had a blood test before Christmas so I assumed it was the result
Well - it was - but only to say that the things down to be tested couldn;t be tested until 3rd Feb as it was not xxx days since the last one
OK - but the doc had said I needed a re-test after 6 weeks so something is wrong
My money would be on the test form being for different things than the original doctor had in mind

so - I need a doctor to check stuff

I have now been waiting for someone to ring back for several hours - could go out but if they ring when I am driving then I will have to ring them back and start again probably

anyway - I'm annoyed

still - turkey is now finished!

I'm thinking of replacing the shelf in the airing cupboard as it has become warped over the years. While digging about I noticed that our " Glow Worm Ultimate " boiler was installed in 1997😮. I remember having the Central heating installed and asking for a more powerful boiler at the time as I thought we might have an extension built at some time ( which we did )
Just had a quick look on the local City Plumbing website and see that spares are still available.

Just got back to blue sky and sunshine. Let's see how long that lasts.

I've done a very gentle 5k on the treadmill. The time goes past much more quickly having Zwift hooked up to that too. At least there's something to look at instead of just watching a timer and distance ticking by.

A nice long dog walk done, some heavy rain showers along the way. Stopped at the Mitre for a couple of pints on the way home.
Now have a mug of tea and watching the Cafè ride with Matt Stephens and Tadje Pogacha. Quite a good watch.

We are haing sausages as well - probably with beans and mash - although I might do some chips for me
