welsh dragon
Thanks but no thanks. I think I'll pass.
Another really awful day for us. Blowing a hoolie and pouring down with rain. Just what we needed.
I am trying to work up the enthusiasm to do something, anything really.
That's me sorted for shingles protection as the Nurse told me it would last for the rest of my life ( a quick check online says 7+ years )
Popped into M+S and got the Pizza deal, then walked back down the hill just before the heavens opened. Tucking into a Maple and Pecan Plait ( cooked in the AirFryer ) and a cup of coffee. Then I'll be cutting up an aluminium pie case to reinforce my repair of the fridge door tray which has snapped at the attachment point.
Let us hope you need a top up!![]()

Mine held for a week before failing again ( superglue and gorilla tape) This latest attempt is with a special 2 part epoxy specifically for repairing plastics. I've cut a section of aluminium out of an apple pie dish from M+S ( good excuse to eat the pie ) I looked at using a beer can but the ally is very thin and the pie dish is much more substantial. Glued up and held in place with a couple of clothes pegs. I will give it 24 hours to fully cure ( It sets quickly but continues to strengthen with time, so 24 hours should see it reach its maximum strength) 🤞🤞I've just had to repair one of the door trays this morning. MrsP had dropped something on the floor from the fridge, then stood up whilst the door was still open and snapped part of the tray off.
Now repaired with a combination of super glue and gorilla tape.
Seems to be holding at the moment.
Just enjoyed home made lamb curry with rice and garlic bread.... double yummy![]()
