Does that third one mean buying new ones?

He can have some of mine.......I have somehow aquired a drawfull of them. And strangely no odd ones, though I do have a nice comfy pair and one of them has developed a hole.

Barnet,
Morning all, a bit late on duty today.
It's been raining heavily all night, and doesn't look like stopping anytime soon.
I am a glass half full person, although I often get let down by other people and situations.
MrsP on the other hand is a glass half empty, or maybe even a no glass at all type. Always fearing the worst.
Today I am getting the bus to the high road for some essential stuff from the shops. I'm not going to cycle anywhere in this weather.

I solved the problem of "odd socks" by throwing away all of my socks, and, buying a dozen pairs of identical, plain, black socks, now, any two socks make a pair. ;)

I am too much of a style god to do that. What would my fans think.

Thanks but no thanks. I think I'll pass.
I am back from the metropolis. Not a nice journey as the standing water was awful and more was running off the fields onto the road as well. A few times where ended up splashing onto and over my bonnet

An adventourous walk this morning. Five persons including Mrs Tkk and myself. Lashing rain, high winds, deep puddles but we perservered. Was nice to get home and get into dry clothing ( we wore waterproofs, but you still get soggy at the end of your arms and round the ankles )
Just had a nice sandwich of extra mature cheddar with ginger and chilli chutney on two doorsteps of homemade granary bread. Need to put another loaf on, we've gone back to making smaller loaves now the family have gone back.

Maybe try shaming them on twitter a bit…..that is a public forum that they might want to try to help on?

After the shambles BG made of closing the account of Mrs Tkk's late brother, and the numerous apologies from various BG departments which were followed by yet more letters threatening action to recover the non existent debt ( they were sending the new tenants bills to the estate of Mrs Tkk's brother) I went on Trust Pilot and left a scathing one star review about their " harassment of a recently bereaved pensioner "
Within an hour BG had responded to the review asking me to contact them ( via Trust Pilot ). This was followed up by a phone call from a named person who " took ownership " of the issue and left her name and phone number should the issue not be resolved.
