Cooooeeee it went quite cold here last night. 1 deg at the moment. I have a load of washing in the machine.

Good morning all.
Red sky at dawn. It's supposed to be a sunny day today, but the sky, old wives tale says different. We shall see.
Sainsbury's are delivering the essential/heavy products this morning, quite soon actually 8.00 to 9.00am.
Got to go back to the RVC this afternoon as Millie has been put on a dietary trial to see if it helps with her inflamed small bowel. Fortunately as she is on the trial we are getting the food for nothing. It is expensive to buy. £55 for 12 cans.
We should also get the results of her biopsy from yesterday. She spent Tuesday and Wednesday at the college for tests to try and find out what is going on. I am now nearly £2000 lighter, but hopefully the insurance will stump up.

New rug allegedly being delivered early doors so up from the pit.
Morning all.
Enjoyed a good kip. WoW it was dark this morning....got up for a pee thinking it must be 0300ish (as it was so dark) but it was 0600. I got back for a doze though.
Got a delivery of soil etc this morning, for SiLs project......I have to make sure they don't block the drive with it.

Been out and hoovered the new car out
Grand kids had made a mess of it - dropped crumbs all over the place!!!!!
SWMBO says it was my fault for giving them cake in the car
but for Pete's sake they should be old enough to stop dropping crumbs all over the place now
I mean - the youngest is 3 now - he really needs to grow up :-)
mind you - the mess in the car is nothing to the mess he makes when given a sausage roll - sort of mess the term "carpet bombing" is required for!!!

We had leftover chicken from yesterday so sandwiches for us today.
I have just bought some new bath towels. How exciting is that. Some of the ones we have must be over 30 years old plus, so I think it's time splash out on new ones

You will find it hard to dry yourself if you splash on them too much, follow me for more top bathroom related tips 🙂

Actually new towel are never very good at drying you
they should really be washed first - and don;t use conditioner on them
both leave a coating that makes them feel softer but reduces their ability to absorb water
but you probably knew that
