What is the professional name for a person who cuts stone?
Stonecutter.

Ok - actually managed to get up the enthusiasm and went for a ride this afternoon

Not all that far - about 16 miles - but that avoided all the bits that will by full of muddy puddles and just plain mud

which is good

Colder than I though but I kept warm enough by being unfit and having to pedal harder because of it -- which kept all of me warm except my feet
should have waterproof foot thingies my wife bought me a couple of years ago!

That would be telling. Suffice to say we've made our decision, and it's a beautiful decision.

Think dodgy handshake!

One evening an English mason, a Scottish mason, and an Irish mason were in the bar after the meeting. They each proceeded to buy a pint of Guinness. Just as they were about to enjoy their creamy beverage, a fly landed in each of their pints and became stuck in the thick head. The Englishman pushed his beer from him in disgust. The Irishman fished the offending fly out of his beer and continued drinking it as if nothing had happened. The Scotsman picked the fly out of his drink, held it out over the beer and yelled "SPIT IT OUT!! SPIT IT OUT!!!!
