Can't argue as I do like Jamesons....depends what mood I am in.
You have me in a Jameson mood but sadly I don't have any

I used to work in a school where the Head was an old Irish Nun
lovely person - just don;t get on the wrong side of her

anyway - one term we had an Inspection - all very stressful but we did well
at the end of term she made a trifle for all the staff to share

The Deputy head whispered to me - don;t have much if you are driving

Yea Gods - there must have been half a bottle in that trifle
tasted lovely - no idea why it wasn;t actually just floating in Jamesons (had to be Irish whiskey - suggesting Scotch would have result in un-nunlike comments!!! - the Bishop had been known to comment that in the old days she would have been burned as a witch - whether or not he through this was a good idea was uncertain!)

A splendid day out in Weymouth, trains were on time and as the rain had stopped we decided to walk to the Boot. Outstanding meal at a Turkish restaurant then we wandered to the Dog House which has recently changed hands. Beer was good, warm and welcoming atmosphere and just a stones throw from the railway station. New owner was originally from California, and a bit of a runner going by all the medals hanging on the wall, some of them really " bling "

Most of mine are kept in a large bucket like tin as our granddaughter likes to play with them. She will take one out at random and award it to me for coming second in the " who's fastest at bumping down the stairs on their bottom " challenge.
I do keep a few from the more memorable events in a drawer somewhere.

Good morning all.
Another grey start to the day here. At least the rain has stopped for the time being.
Our daughter is visiting later on, so I think I'll cook a chicken casserole. I'll get a crusty loaf to go with it when I cycle up to the local shops.
A bit of tidying up is needed downstairs before she arrives.

Sounds nice, especially with fresh crusty bread.

Morning all.
Can't be certain but I am sure there is a frost on the grass.
A chill day with TV sport plus a book.
I woke thinking sausage and egg on toast.
Later meal will be a 'Dave surprise' as a while ago I put 2 home made meals in the freezer. I know one is lamb curry and t'other is chilli but no idea which one I took out as they are not labeled.
