Good morning all.
As @Drago says, there is a strange thing in the sky, and there are no clouds covering the blue sky.
This mornings dog walk will be another soggy affair as the paths and field are more or less under water.
I'll be able to watch today's stage of the UAE tour before lunch, and then-------
There is a meeting of the escape committee this afternoon at the Railway Bell.🍺
MrsP is out this evening at a Spanish tapas bar with a group of friends so I'll probably eat at the Bell from the Wetherspoons a'la carte menu.😁

Morning all. Seems pleasant but some rain is due. My side garden is saturated.
My gob is truly smacked.....allow me to explain.
As I freely admit I am ignorant in most things technical.
Virgin came yesterday and installed TWO new boxes (one in the main house and t'other in the flat). It's amazing......they are now voice activated ie I press a button and say eg sky sports golf and it immediately switches. They are sending 3 WiFi 'pods' so anyone can watch their own progs in their own room.
Things still to learn re recording/deleting but I will get there.

Didn't wake up until 0830 this morning.
Hedgehogs have been busy stuffing their faces overnight. Had 4 different ones vist the verandah feed stations.
Chuffed with my oven door repair, but frustrated at trying to get an oven repair person out previously. One of the guys I contacted wouldn't look at it because he's 'not a Gas Safe registered engineer and only does electric'. I had explained that it was purely a mechanical problem on the door hinge - nothing to do with gas. He wouldn't budge. WTF?
Still, I saved well over a ton on it by doing it myself.

Yes, otherwise it would react to all voices. It's simple, press one button, give the command and it's done.

It'll be down to avoiding getting into trouble for working on a gas appliance whilst not holding the proper paperwork. Maybe there's check's being made, with people like you getting him out to do one thing, then asking if he'll check/fix another piece.
It's how ridiculous its become over the last 2-3 years.

Suppose it is listening, waiting for that moment when you call it into action so it can reply with "Command not understood, please repeat"?
