Thanks but no thanks. I think I'll pass.
We had chicken curry with rice.

Had one of my chicken cottage pie for my lunch and it was very nice.

I'm shocked
shocked I tell you

Cottage pie is made from beef

if you use lamb then it is shephard's pie

No idea about it with chicken
do we go after the place - or the worker who looks after them

so either hutch pie - or
dunno - what is the equivalent of shepherd for chickens???

I wonder about these things

Evening folks, spent half the day cleaning another roof of moss  my fault really as do one and all the rest stand out in their untidiness! The council havent bothered to clean them for years and each roof has about 8-10 wheel barrow loads on top. The residents are either elderly or disabled and think they appreciate it...though im expecting a kick back from 'good deeds' ie 'no good deed goes unpunished!
Weather looks good for a spin tomorrow but i'll be cautious and make sure ive enough gear if it turns nasty!:okay:

SO - today was grand-kids day
normal thing - we pick up the youngest from the "other gran" at about 1
then go to their house and look after him until about 3 ish when I go to get the oldest - plus her cousin - from their school
while my wife waits in for the middle one to get home on his bus from his school

anyway - got there OK
but a lot of the road to the school is 20 mph
as has been noted on another thread (where I got shouted at!!!) in 20 mpg areas I generally drive just over the 20
anyway - today on the way to the school I was overtaken at high rates of acceleration by 2 people for driving too slowly - or so it appeared
on the way back the same happened approaching some traffic lights except that it was an undertake as I was in the right lane lane which was the only straight on lane
Then on the motorway on the way back there were more idiots weaving all over the road for some reason

I came to the conclusion that it is just "one of those days"

The amount of traffic and standard of driving around here is awful now. No wonder I’m getting scared to get out cycling.

Another decent day here. Around 6 degrees and to be dry all day.

A very good morning to all. Please have another ...... (no expense spared).
Surprisingly dark at 0600 today. It felt cold but my phone tells me it is 4°.
My legs were good this morning. I usually struggle for the 1st 3 hours but I walked OK today.
Blue (recycling) bin today....how exciting.
Should be going for my weekly lunch time drink later.
Big footy night on tv as Lpool play in Europe.

Morning all :hello:

Bit of gardening to do today. I cut the front lawn yesterday and will do the rears today. MrsD's got some shrubs to plant and some general tidying up.
Was nice to be able to sit outside yesterday at lunchtime watching the birds. I counted sparrows, dunnocks, green finches, gold finches, long tailed tits, blue tits, starlings, blackbirds, collared doves, wood pigeons, robins, siskins, a woodpecker and a seagull in the hour we were sitting there.
