Not much planned for today. I have some stuff to do on the laptop and maybe some washing and that's it.

Morning all. Twas dark and cold at 05.30 when I crawled out of the sack.
I will shortly strip the bed and put bedding in to wash.
Cleaner will be here at 10.00.
And that's about it.
Oh.....I have a tower fan heater in the conservatory which seems to have packed in......just nothing happens when switched on. I changed the fuse...nada . I plugged a light in and it worked. I am at a loss.

Good morning all.
It's cloudy out there with rain on it's way. Fortunately I managed to cut the grass yesterday afternoon.
A tidying up day today. The house is a bit of a mess.

Guests arriving at lunchtime. Should be a fun weekend......not!
Both my brothers in law are about 5 years older than me and are a right pair of boring old farts. One can talk the hind leg off a donkey, usually about when he was at work; the other is a miserable taciturn tea totaller.
Still.......duty must be done. Roll on Sunday night when they go home.

Well, it cleared up so made it out for a walk. There's more rain due though so glad I've at least got some fresh air.

It did brighten up here for a while but it's gone dull again. I think we are also in for brightness and then showers.

It's dry here, but my weather station is showing rain at 12c

Yay! It's Fish Friday!!
Although, we are having sandwiches when our guests arrive in 30 minutes and MrsD's made a cottage pie for this evening.
Good job I've got a fridge full of booze to numb the guest 'experience'.
