Morning. I barely use my car and have to remember to use it occasionally before the battery goes flat, so took it out to the next village and had a very pleasant 5.5 mile walk there for a change. It’s an absolutely gorgeous morning here. Blue sky and sun and everything now has that lovely, lush green that you get in early Spring. Heard a Cuckoo again.

I might try to throw some more rubbish out that Mr WD has accumulated as it might come in handy, but hasn't been used in 30 years.

You might regret it if you need something fixing, only to find that you've thrown out the very (unobtainable) part that was needed.

Got the boys in fitting the aircon. Inside units in place, they're now outside in the rain fitting the big units and doing the plumbing and wiring. Looks a tidy job, very happy.

Just a sandwich for lunch for me. I bought some of that seriously strong spreadable cheddar. It’s rather nice. Just had that with tomato and a squirt of salad cream.

My bowel screening came back OK
I had salmon fish cake and mushy peas and my favorite pudding for lunch,
