Just reading your signature. It’s so true! Seems like yesterday I had 6 years until I get my state pension. All of a sudden it’s less than 6 months. Wish it would slow down a bit

This month is my double payment month as the pension is paid every four weeks. I treat it as a bonus payment and sometimes treat myself 😁

Hmm. Nice new Garmin I got an Enduro 3 a few weeks back. It’s massive but I don’t care. It’s easier to see and the battery life is amazing.

I have a load of washing in the machine. Of course I won't be able to put it outside

Hmm. Nice new Garmin I got an Enduro 3 a few weeks back. It’s massive but I don’t care. It’s easier to see and the battery life is amazing.

I like that with Garmin they regularly update / add new features to their existing products. I have a Forerunner 255m which must be over three years old, there was quite a major update a couple of weeks ago which added a few extra features.
My previous Garmin watches are still in constant use, daughter has my last one, and a friend uses an even older one. With the oldest one it got quite a bit of a bash when she took a tumble. The display became loose ( there was a tiny ribbon cable keeping it attached), I used some silicone sealant and used a toothpick to carefully apply it around the screen recess before popping it back in place with a clothes peg to anchor it until the silicone cured. It's still going strong over a year later.!

I have the threat of a visit to IKEA in Southampton hanging over me 😮 This is tempered by the prospect of a session at the " Dancing Man " pub to de stress afterwards 🍺
The trouble with IKEA is there's lots of useful little widgety things that you think " wow! that's a bargain and end up in your basket 😁

First job this morning is to service my motor mower.

We have blue sky here, so the washing machine is doing it's stuff.
Dog walk soon across/around the sodden fields.
The first of the two bin lorries have been down our road.
I put R2 on and it was wall to wall Christmas songs, so i I turned it off.😡
Hopefully I'll get out on the bike for a while later on for a while.

Good morning all, showers and gusty winds here.

Watched the first two episodes of the new Wolf Hall over the weekend, now doing lots of googling to remind myself who everyone was. For me that’s the trouble with history, I find it fascinating but can never remember anything of it. Anyway, captivating viewing.

The other thing we started watching over the weekend was Only Child, the new bittersweet comedy from Gary Tank Commander Greg McHugh and Rab C Nesbitt himself Gregor Fisher. It’s set in Forres and looks very promising, we enjoyed the first two episodes, part laughter, part cringe.
