Started young, and still going.
Got my new specs. Definitely an improvement and I can now read small print that I couldn't before.

I don't think any of us realise just how our eyesight worsens between retesting.

That's decent.

Mine get done on the first of each month.

Been doing it for last 10 months.

First graph shows Systolic/Dystolic trend for the year to date, and second shows today's result in isolation.

I didn't know that your eyesight can improve , wish mine did

It is a strange phenomenon. Both my eyes improved by 0.25 at my latest 2-yearly test. Contact lenses & glasses wearer.

Optician said it was natural for them to fluctuate slightly, but, in 50 years of eye tests; this was the first time mine had ever improved.

I wish to register a complaint!!!

Why were there lots of old people on bikes on MY cycle path this morning???

something must be done!!

AND - they were going slower than me

OK OK OK - I know ebike and all that
but once I realised there were loads of small groups ahead of me I switched the motor off - it was only on the lowest assist setting anyway
AND I was STILL wanting to go faster than them!!

(yes - I am looking smug!
especially as most of them had dropped handlebar bikes and were wearing cycling clothes when I was wearing jeans and a jumper)

Just ended up riding most of the way back in "OFF" mode but the overall time on Strava was still lower than usual

I might look fat bald and old - but apparently at least my legs work OK!!!
(OK - TBF - legs work OK when pedalling on the flat - no hills involved)
