Some cracking cycling around Nice(I've not been been, just seen on various videos). Pogacar lives there so if he's at home you could burn him off on a few climbs...

I have cycled there a couple of times but only along the coastal roads. Beautiful though.

My Bro is in Majorca and just messaged to say they are sheltering from a thunder storm for the 2nd day running. Due to be in for the week.

afternoon very cloudy here and cool too only 17c.

15 here with a nice breeze. Just looking at the long range forecast and this looks like continuing for a couple of weeks yet. Gardeners and farmers won’t be happy, but everyone else will be I would think.

Tip run has been done. Fairly quiet today though the roundabout near the entrance has 4 wsy traffic lights on it while summat is being dug up.

Should we start a Senior Moments thread? Sitting on the bed I lifted my right foot up and tied the lace on my trainer. Time to put on and tie the left one. Looked around and couldn't see it. Picked up dressing gown, nope not under there. Looked behind me on the bed. Nothing. Stared across to where I park them at night. Still nothing. I'm getting grumpy now.......

.......stood up. Hmmmm that feels OK. Glanced down and found my left trainer........on my left foot.

They'll probably take me away tomorrow

Yep, I used to ride round there. When the kids were young we would load the eSpace and spend 3 - 4 weeks in the area. These days we just jump on a plane and stay with our friends.

I decided not to go back out in the sun. The house is feeling quite pleasant with the blinds shut and a breeze coming in. Sometimes it’s nice just to sit on your bum and chill.

I just woke up from a snooze. MR WD said he hears thunder in the distance. It does look like it might rain.
