Good Morning. Cold, windy and damp. Cycling plans abandoned. Not sure what my day will bring but it probably involves a hoover and duster. ☹️

It was quiz night yesterday, we came 4th. Should have been third but we wiped out in the final round. A wipe out is get one question out of ten and your score is zero. Get 10/10 for a bonus 10 points. The moment of the night? Our team of six is fairly well politically aligned. The question:
"How many US presidents have been assassinated?"
Our table chorused "Not enough"
The room fell about laughing 😃

Absolutely no problem at all and no need to apologise. Your point was completely correct and valid, I was merely objecting to the perceived injustice of taxation when working and when retired.

Last night some A hole going TFF in the rain lost control outside Daughter #3s house and smacked into her new Mini Cooper on the driveway and punted it into the house. Car badly damaged, probably a write off, minor damage to house (her feller owns a building company so he'll take care to see its all safe etc.)

@Mo1959 thanks for your suggestion on the Garmin Forerunner 55. I'm not sure that's for me but it helped open my eyes to other possibilities. I like the look of the Samsung Galaxy watches which would integrate with my phone.
A friend made a good suggestion last night. Apparently John Lewis hold an extensive display of smart watches. She found it far easier to make a decision after viewing physical devices. I feel the same about many products.
I bought my dieing Vivoactive in John Lewis 8/9 years ago and now recall there was a very useful display along with a knowledgeable person to chat with.
