Good Morning. It's dark, weather update to follow. @Dave7 I hope you're feeling better today. It always bothers me when I read of any of us feeling very poorly.

I went to bed at 9.00pm, knew it was a mistake, and I'd be awake at 3.00am. On the dot. Mrs P was watching Devious Maids. Yes, this is an American TV series. Well, I've seen some shite TV in my time. There are four, FOUR, series. There will have to be a discussion. Mrs P's capacity for this nonsense is legendary. I couldn't stand it any longer but couldn't summon the energy to do something else.

Motivation is a problem at the moment. The last few days I've felt unable to do anything. Can't be arsed in truth. I get in these cycles from time to time, finding an excuse not to do anything.

Having a brew and will do the crossword before trying to sleep again.

Good morning all.
The sun is shining at the moment, but there are clouds gathering and some rain is forecast for this afternoon.
Our Daughter is calling in around lunchtime so MrsP and her are going shopping.
She is staying for tea also as her husband is up in Liverpool to watch the open top bus parade of the cup.
The first of the bin lorries is coming along our road, the second one won't be far behind.

This is my biggest downfall. Although I exercise quite a lot, I also sit for far too long in between. I was even wondering about getting a standing desk for the computer. I’ve pretty much sat here at the computer since breakfast.

I find stretching for 20 - 25 minutes a day very helpful and it does loosen up these old bones. BUT!!! I think you're the most consistent amongst us for taking daily exercise so don't beat yourself up over it. Your walks are to be applauded. Rather than a standing desk try 10-15 minutes stretching at lunch and tea if you feel you've had a day with a little too much sitting.
