Morning.
Bright and breezy in London. Plan is Kew gardens today before getting train back.
Hopefully not as busy as on way here, it was rammed.

We are heading back from Edinburgh tomorrow. Had a couple of nightmare train journeys on Bank Holidays so put our return journey off for a day.
Mr Garmin says another 48 hours of recovery, off to the Alpkit shop soon, then lunch at Hendersons

Good Morning. It's dark, weather update to follow. @Dave7 I hope you're feeling better today. It always bothers me when I read of any of us feeling very poorly.

I went to bed at 9.00pm, knew it was a mistake, and I'd be awake at 3.00am. On the dot. Mrs P was watching Devious Maids. Yes, this is an American TV series. Well, I've seen some shite TV in my time. There are four, FOUR, series. There will have to be a discussion. Mrs P's capacity for this nonsense is legendary. I couldn't stand it any longer but couldn't summon the energy to do something else.

Motivation is a problem at the moment. The last few days I've felt unable to do anything. Can't be arsed in truth. I get in these cycles from time to time, finding an excuse not to do anything.

Having a brew and will do the crossword before trying to sleep again.

Re dross TV.

Surfing the channels yesterday, tuned in on my hospital TV, I found these amongst the tosh from Ant & Dec, Johny Vegas and other assorted unfunny types:

A whole station devoted to Mrs Pimple Popper and something called 1000lb Sisters!

It's beyond belief what people will (presumably) watch.

Thanks Mo, all done and dusted. Very fortunate with the weather, sunshine and a following wind for the majority of the course. Enthusiastic and vocal crowd when I needed a boost and I got round without incident. I found it very challenging as my medical condition has severely impacted my endurance, but toughed it out ok. Beer tent ( Bellfield Brewery ) was within staggering distance of the finish line so I was soon busy rehydrating and replacing the lost potassium 🍺🍺.
I think the half marathon distance is now my maximum achievable distance, Mrs Tkk and I have entered the Kelpies half in September, today's run reinforced the need to shed a few Kg before then.

Well done Mate !

TT practice should start today, weather permitting.

watched it on TT+ this morning and disappointed no running, looks very wet for the week after 5 weeks of sunshine there and will try again tomorrow evening . Tough on the newcomers missing out

It's been a productive day. The first time I could say that for a while. Got some admin done and was just about to exercise when I had a moment. I get about 20 - 30 minutes warning of a possible epileptic fit. This means I must eat and rest. I'd been awake since 3.00 and a very early breakfast. No surprise really. Went to bed for a nap.

After that up to the allotment, trimmed and tied cucumbers and tomatoes, bit of weeding, planted 150 onions, netted the kale and purple sprouting. Pigeons have been showing too much interest.

Pleased with today. I intended to walk but the rain has started.
