I've just ordered a new waterproof jacket from Alpkit. My OMM jacket is more than a decade old and has started to delaminate. It's done sterling service over the years.

I went off OMM stuff. My new favourite is my Montane Spine. Don’t make it now but there’s others similar. They are a bit spendy though. I think I got mine reduced if I remember correctly.

We had lamb casserole. Lamb, carrots, potatoes with a bit off brocoli as well

As you know, my appetite is shot.
So when, 15 minutes ago, my daughter asked if I wanted hash brown with egg I thought.... .yes I can handle that.
So......why did I get hash brown, fried egg, sausage, mushrooms and tomatato ohh and toast.
Tbf I managed to eat most of it.

I had broccoli last night but I left it on too long. Should have removed it while it still had a bit of crunch.

I am doing better. Before hospital I went (I think) 14 days** without eating a single thing

Well I've been eating since I went in hospital and they put me on all sorts of drips to help.
Towards the end they switched them to tablets and I'm on 5 different types now.
In a nutshell, I don't feel like eating but at least I'm getting something inside me.

I love my Montane trousers because they have a generously elasticated waist band 😁.
Been buying Alpkit stuff since about 2007. I like the company ethos, they pay a living wage and offer a repair service that is fair priced and will repair kit from other brands😎
