then I have to decide whether to go to Tesco this morning or this afternoon
Due to our location it's cheaper for us to have Tesco deliver than drive 35miles round trip to the nearest big supermarket. As it happens they've been this morning, although turned up early at 08:45 instead of scheduled 09:30-10:30 slot.
In fairness delivery system is good and I much prefer it to traipsing around pushing a trolly with a wonky wheel.

and expensive
I just use oats and milk - then lob some frozen fruit in
cheaper and nicer and not that much trouble if you use the microwave

just waiting for my morning pills to settle down before I make it - they need 20 minutes before I am supposed to have food

then I have to decide whether to go to Tesco this morning or this afternoon

decisions decisions decisions
will this hell never end!!!

Nobody understands do they ?

When I got the new annul statement telling how much my private pension would be per month this year, they deducted the grand sum of £38 in tax. I've just had to give Ebay my national insurance number aa I have made more than 30 sales on the site. That will be more tax to pay then.

Are you trading as a business?

If so, there is a little known tax break from HMRC.

Provided you do not offset any costs against your business, the first £1000 of sales is free of tax.

Great for low volume, low costs hobbyists.

Just remembered
I went shopping yesterday - some bits from the High Street and a few bits from Morrissons
I hate parking at Morissons because half of the car park charges and half is free

even driving into the charging part can result in a ticket - according to "local wisdom"

anyway
when I was heading home I drive back out past the store entrance
but there was a lareg mini bus type thing parked outside it with some wheelchair ramps out the back - clearly loading up some "old people" and disabled people who had been shopping

it was just before the turning to leave without entering the zone where the devil rules they charge

and there was someone trying to cross the road just after the bus

so I slowed down and waved people across
can;t be too careful - people do weird things and all that
so - I slowed from slow to very slow - as is normal in a car park

the car behind be took umbridge and BEEPED ME!!!

not exactly sure why - I presume they were annoyed that I was delaying them

but - WOW
I mean - I wasn;t even on a bike!

Had a wander along to Aldi for a change. Their smoked salmon is cheaper than the Co-op and I got some fruit and veg and oat milk when I was there.

It’s getting more and more humid. I actually wish it would plummet down for an hour just to clear the air a bit.

Pleased to see you are shopping around and economising, now that you are personally tasked with paying off the deficit 😂
