Confession time.
I said a few days ago that my daughter made a bowl of peas and ham soup. Turns out she didn't make it.
It was Aldis premium range.
They do a 99p Bramwells and this £2.25 premium one from the chiller.

Just had the 2nd portion.....very nice.

So much for getting my state pension. They’ve knocked £150 off my work pension in tax so I probably only end up around £600 per month better off.

Great idea, get some economic growth into the economy. @Mo1959 is going to solve it all single-handedly. We can all just sit back and relax (which, my wife tells me, I am very good at) 😂

Are you trading as a business?

If so, there is a little known tax break from HMRC.

Provided you do not offset any costs against your business, the first £1000 of sales is free of tax.

Great for low volume, low costs hobbyists.

Well I made it out for a spin, had to gird my loins to get out the door as was feeling a bit dozy(no surprise there). I blame the muggy weather.

Anyway, glad I made the effort as a very fun 30miles and got back just before the rain started so perfect timing.

And on that note it's now officially beer o'clock.

When I used to make wine from assorted growing stuff, I thought it'd be fun to make some Ginger Beer.
Once I'd fermented it out, it was approximately 14.5 ABV 😂
A pint of that on a sunny afternoon in the garden was quite amusing 😜

It's really for mixing with alcohol, it has a very gingery taste with a sparkle.
In my younger days I use to drink scotch and canada dry, the latter was a trade name at the time for ginger ale.
