Good morning to all.
Another pleasant day ahead weather-wise.
I am off to Aldi at 10.00, don't need much but it will get me out.
My daughter (a Reflexologist) had a client booked in for 10.00 but the lady cancelled as her son has been rushed into hospital with meningitis .

Good morning. A beautiful Lancashire day has dawned. Warm, still and not a cloud in the sky. I have a ride planned tomorrow, hopefully I'll be saying the same in 24 hours.

Today is going to be full on. The sister granddaughters #1 and #3SP are here as usual for a Tuesday. We know #1 has been worried about #3 coming, "will I still be able to do things?" Although she's hugely improved the arrival of a baby sister has been difficult for her. I'm delighted to watch her love and care for #3 but there are moments when it's clearly very hard for her. After 3½ years of having Nana and Granddad to yourself it's understandable.

So Mrs P and #1 will swim this morning. This afternoon Mrs P will attend ukulele practice for 1½ hours. This leaves me with #3. I find a 6 month old much harder, especially as she only naps fork 30 minutes. Then when #1 returns she's going to expect full Granddad time.......this is almost certain to include some trampolining. I'm nearly 71!!!! Getting on the damn thing with a gammy knee is a challenge. 🤣

Barnet,
Good morning all.
A bright sunny start to the day here.
I'm giving the Raleigh Royal a spruce up today and then taking it out for a spin later on. It has been a whole since it has been out on the road. It'll give me a chance to stop at the Mitre for a pint or two on the way home.
Sainsbury's are delivering the weekly goodies between 9 and 10 this morning. I had a lot of Nectar points, so today's shop is costing me £11.50.😁
Millie needs a brush, her coat is looking a bit tatty, and the cats, being fluffy are shedding hair everywhere. They also really dislike being combed.
Enjoy your day everyone. :cuppa:

Bruce walked early. The country park affords him a bit of shade for an early trot.

Morning all :hello:

Woken at 4.30am by a lone blackbird having it's own dawn chorus right outside my (open) bedroom window. Eventually managed to get back off to sleep again and woke at 7.15.
More workshopping and gardening today.
Must check up on the 8 new goldfish we collected last night.

Morning.
Overcast and a bit breezy which is contrast to forecast for heatwave over the next few days.
Probably ride although tomorrow looks a nicer day for it so might bin it and if washer pump arrives early enough I'll fit that today instead.
Also need to cut grass.
First though, coffee!
