Bruce walked. No tennis ball, even at 7am it was too warm.

8.8 mile walk done. 70% road 30% trail with a biggish hill in the middle which had me sweating.

Bit of shopping in the Co-op on the way home.

Morning all

Today I shall be finishing off MrsDs Bantam.
Got the engine 95% assembled yesterday. Just need to install it in the frame and connect everything up. Should be rideable this afternoon.

Morning.
Very warm night. Some rain may arrive. Heatwave receding it seems.
Plan on ride today, just not sure exactly where or when. Binned club meet as don't want to get caught in downpour miles away and have to ride 25miles back on slippery roads.

Going to see Bat Out of Hell at the MK Theatre tonight. Looking forward to that.

Otherwise a Q day ahead. May do a bit more fence painting, but won't strain myself. Not much left to do and only a small section or the fence is mine anyway.

I've no idea if I'm honest. It was my Dad's birthday present to Mrs D, she loves thar musical theatre stuff.

I've liked Meat Loaf since I was a spotty teen so it'll be interesting to see if they do the big feller justice.

I am just back from my walk, 5th this week.
On none of them did I see Mo !!!
Now she claims she goes out but if that's true why don't I see her ?

Good morning all fellow retirees
It's already pushing 25⁰ here, a high of 33⁰ is forecast.
MrsP loves this kind of weather. I am already a sweaty mess.🥵
I've been up since 6.30. The dog has had a short walk and I am just about to cycle up to the local butcher for some chicken thighs and some of his sausages.
I might have to get some ales from the Tesco express for rehydration purposes.
